Howdy, and greetings from the Red Waters II Staff. This is Corporal, and I'd like you to know that I really like the look of this place, even though the forum is fresh and new. I'd love to affiliate our forum with yours. My own is currently under Maintenance Mode due to a major revamp that we are doing. In other words, the only people that can log in at the current time are staff, and so our lovely members are patiently awaiting the unveiling.
Though you are unable to log in or view the main board, I'll add a link just in case you'd like a peek and some information.
A question: Do you guys have a banner or should I make one to put in our affiliate box?

a history lecture & the story of creation of the Red Waters II world!
INTRODUCTION
Red Waters II is set in a world known as Rothetia, where the horses are as diverse as human cultures today. No other beings are found on this hidden continent. However, there are beasts that seem to be at first glance, monsters, but they are, in fact, equinesque creatures. Other sorts of creatures are said to exist in the lands beyond the seas...CREATION
Rothetia has a history as rich as the soil it planted its roots. Below is a must-read if you want to have a character tell the story of creation, or you're just intrigued by the Rothetian culture.
Before all time and matter began, there was a tiny white light in an infinite, swirling ocean of darkness. This light suddenly grew, and it shifted its form until it was that of a horse. It made guttural noise, and called it Voice. With the Voice, it called itself a stallion. With his Voice, he found a word - Phrysmos - and claimed it as his own. He felt energy inside of him, and unleashed it to create the gods and goddesses. They claimed their names and created the universe with all of their power combined.[/blockquote][/size]
On one planet, however, there was an energy that allowed something to live and breathe, just as the gods did. So Phrysmos created sculptures from the material that was on earth. They looked well enough to stand and walk on their own - they were well-muscled, with skeletons to stand them up, and organs to supply them with life. But they lay limp on the ground. Phrysmos was enraged and infuriated by his flawed creation, and was about to fling them into space when his younger brother Tethostos halted him and daintily took the bodies from him.
When the Creator wasn't looking, Tethostos breathed on them, and they began to move about just as the deities. While his older brother was busy, the youngest of the gods sped down to earth and set them on the hidden continent Rothetia. "You will create the grandest of any civilizations," he told them before hightailing it back to the heavens. The equines looked at one another and began their great journey of disovery.
Back in the heavens, however, Phrysmos was furious when Tethostos explained to him why his creation was "flawed" and how he had fixed the problem and sent them down to the earth. Because of this, the Creator removed his younger brother's sight and left him only the ability to sense emotions.
There were hundreds of horses that started the equine civilization in Rothetia, and they had set out to fulfill the now-blind god's wish. Through numerous wars, times of peace, and extended periods of tension, they have - a culture that is diverse yet the same, old and yet fresh...
